Duties:
Work with product management and key users to understand requirements, collaborate with fellow engineers on feature design, and implement new features and improve existing ones. Follow our engineering best-practices for code organization, documentation, testing, and continuous integration/deployment (CI/CD). Help peer engineers by reviewing code, and suggesting novel and creative solutions to our technical challenges. Analyze performance, optimizing and ensuring the continued up-time of the deployed system. Utilize strong Java programming skills and building, deploying, and supporting Java-based software in production environments. Incorporate practical agile development lifecycle experience and familiarity with software development tools, including IDEs (such as Eclipse), Jira, Maven, GitHub, as well as experience with AWS Services, including CloudFormation, and a commitment to test-driven development, CI/CD, and rapid, automated release cycles. The position may include additional duties that utilize the required skills.
Requirements:
Requires a Master of Science degree in Computer Science, Applied Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, and at least two years of experience as a Software Engineer, Senior Analyst, Senior Software Engineer, or a related position, including experience in:
- Implementing software engineering practices and best practices for the full software development life cycle, including requirement gathering, coding standards, peer code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations;
- Providing source code change control, build, deployment and provisioning engineering;
- Developing and deploying software on multiple OS platforms utilizing Intellij, Java, Jenkins, GitHub (Version control), Spring, Hibernate, and related;
- Building, maintaining and optimizing databases with SQL Server bench, and related;
- Analyzing systems requirements, designing an integrated IT infrastructure plan, and leading IT strategic and operational planning.
Telecommuting permitted up to 100% from any location within the U.S.

Rate of Pay & Benefits: $126,000 ~ $150,100/Year, Benefits include Med+dental+vis+life, LTD & AD&D insurance for employee+family. Opt to enroll in 403b.
